Together. Forever.: Martina Liana Bridal Separates

One thing we can't stop obsessing over at Mia is Martina Liana's bridal separates line, Together. Forever. This line is unlike any other. The concept behind Together. Forever. is for the bride to be able to create her dream gown by mixing and matching bridal separates. Many other designers have included separates in their collections before; however, Together. Forever. is unique in that it is presented as an entire collection. With it being a dedicated collection and not a handful of pieces, it ensures that you, the bride, will have a wide variety of pieces that allows you to curate your own look. So whether you're the sexy, boho, elegant, destination, or traditional bride, these separates will have the perfect combination for your bridal vision.

With so many pieces to choose from, it's a perfect way to create different looks for your wedding day. Imagine a fabulous beaded top with a fitted crepe skirt for your walk down the aisle then changing into a fun tea-length skirt with the same fabulous beaded top for the reception!  Not to mention, these pieces are re-wearable so a great reception piece can be worn again for the honeymoon.

Mia Celebrates the Anniversary of Courtney and Chase!

A couple that has fun together, stays together! After going through these photos from Jonathan Ivy Photography, we can see that this is definitely the case for Courtney and Chase. Every picture just exudes happiness, and the smiles are contagious.

Courtney walked down the aisle in an Alyne by Rita Vinieris mikado, modified a-line gown. Bridal buttons trickled down the back of the gown, starting at the top of the bodice to the end of the train. Her simple, cathedral length veil was the ideal compliment to let the gown shine. Courtney added a Blossoms Swarovski belt for the perfect hint of sparkle.

The couple said "I Do!" at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, TX, and The Matchmaker Band kept everyone dancing all night at the Rockport Country Club for their reception.

During the night, Courtney changed into a custom reception gown that she created herself. The strapless, crystal and tulle short dress was simply perfection!

Happy Anniversary to Courtney and Chase! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. May your many years ahead be filled with everlasting joy.

Designer Spotlight: Atelier Pronovias

We don't like to pick favorites at Mia Bridal Couture, but it's hard not to give Pronovias the credit it deserves this season. Every gown that walked down the runway was absolutely jaw-dropping. From the mixtures of laces, to the sparkle, to the extravagant trains... I'm not sure any of us took a breath during the entire show. With over 50 years of experience behind the company, it's not surprising that Pronovias's craftsmanship sets itself apart.  Here, we want to give our faithful readers a little background behind the Spanish company. Also, scroll to the end to see their recent fashion show!

HISTORY

The Pronovias company presented its first prêt-à-porter bridal collection in 1964, thus taking an important step that would propel the company into the 21st century by combining the bridal and prêt-à-porter concepts in a single, innovative project. Years later, in 1968, Pronovias opened its first specialist bridal store in Spain, a single location where brides could find the dresses and all the accessories they needed. The following decade saw Pronovias open 80 more shops in Spain and the start of its international expansion in Europe. It entered the American and Asian markets in the 1990s. It now has more than 3.800 sales points in 75 countries all around the world.

The company's in-depth experience filters through to all its decisions, a tradition that has from its origins in "El Suizo", an establishment that opened in 1922 in Barcelona specializing in lace, silk and embroidery for brides. This savoir faire is the result of the almost 100 years during which the family has been specializing in satisfying brides and making their dreams come true. A spirit that has lasted through the years, surviving changes and fashions in the manner of a real house style.
