Mia Celebrates the Anniversary of Callie and Ryan!

When the two met as freshman at Vanderbilt University, Ryan was automatically drawn to Callie's easygoing personality and contagious smile while she was drawn to his quirky sense of humor and solid character. After 3 years of overcoming major life changes together like graduation, first jobs and a long distant relationship, Ryan popped the question during a trip to visit Callie's parents in Telluride, Colorado. Ryan took Callie on a hike up to an overlook from which they could see all of Telluride and there, Callie said yes to the question that would start the journey to Mr. and Mrs. Lohse.

"He is so supportive and thoughtful," she said. "I know I am his priority, and he is mine. He loves me so well, and I truly am the luckiest girl to be his bride."

Ryan's requirements for the wedding were simple: good food, good music and good people. For Callie, it was a fun, fancy and formal night.

The couple chose the Austin Country Club to hold their reception where the band, Blind Date, created the perfect atmosphere. Callie incorporated many classic, elegant touches for the wedding, including a neutral black-and-white color scheme with touches of champagne and gold.

Down the aisle, Callie wore a beautiful, alencon lace Paloma Blanca gown with a gorgeous detachable tulle train. During her reception, she was able to remove that train for freedom to dance the night away.

Mia Bridal Couture wishes Callie and Ryan a wonderful 2 year anniversary and many more amazing years to come!
