Rivini Feature Gown: Adelle

Erin, Stylist

We have been on pins and needles waiting for the upcoming Rivini Trunk Show, happening next weekend. The Mia team is so excited, in fact, that we are spending time imagining which gowns in the new collection we'll love the most!
One of our new favorites is Adelle from the Spring 2013 Collection, pictured here. I also present, for your veiwing pleasure, some of the accessories, details and a few bridesmaids gowns I think would be PERFECT for the bride who chooses this stunning silk organza and Alencon lace tiered gown!

A Well Deserved Encore!

Emily, Co-Owner

There has been quite the media buzz about Texas' bridal gem Watters, and the Mia team could not be more thrilled.

With owner and founderVatana Watters leading the team, this amazing bridal group consistantly offers an inspired and fun take on bridal fashions for brides around the world. Our latest obsession is the Encore Collection from Watters. It will be arriving to Mia this Summer, and cannot come soon enough.

So for all of you brides who couldn't dream of every changing out of your wedding gown, let me tempt you with some fabulous (and reasonably priced!) eye candy!

If you still absolutely must leave in your grand gown (I mean that is a pretty fabulous photo op) then think rehearsal dinner, engagement party, bridal luncheon, super chic bridesmaid gowns... The possibilities for these frocks are endless! I myself am dreaming of a two year anniversary dress!

Gown Inspiration: Collette by Rivini

Emily, Co-Owner

You may have noticed, everyone at Mia is excitedly awaiting the Rivini Trunk Show, happening June 28th -30th. With the latest collection set to arrive in the next few weeks, it always fun to imagine the weddings in which they will be worn.

Rivini's "Collette" is particualrly inspiring to me, and I am dreaming of a white wedding; an initmate event with a woodsy, yet glamorous affair. Ethereal snow flurries, total bonus!

That Time of Year

Emily, Co-Owner

While perusing Mia's favorite wedding blogs, I have discovered so many beautifully caputured moments that warm the soul and melt the heart.

A cynic may say that melting feeling stems from the temperatures outside that could literally liquify, but a true lover of everything bridal knows the sentiment comes from the fact that it is that time of year.

Between these summer months and into October, the magical day for many of our brides will finally arrive. Why are we so excited? Well this means the team at Mia finally get's to see how gorgeous and flawless the final look comes together!

So cheers to all our brides getting married in these next few months! We cannot wait to share those special pictures from your day. But while we wait, here are a few images that made me melt

Rivini Trunk Show...Two Weeks and Counting!

Erin, Stylist

With the Rivini Trunk show only two short weeks away, I find myself perusing brides.com, pouring over the Spring 2013 collection from Rivini! If you have not checked out the latest creations from Rita Vinieris, let me tell you, these gowns are a must-see.

To the left, we have "Antoinette," with some of the most stunning beadwork I've ever seen! Described as crystal garden vines, the details on this gown make me swoon. Botanical motif crystals and a sumptuous draped tulle skirt, all in the color 'Naturelle'? Perfection.

To the right is "Paulette." The specks of crystal and sequins strewn accross this double peplum silk organza and tulle gown remind me of a clear night sky FULL of twinkling stars. She is almost magical! If you want to make one of these gowns your own, make your appointment for the Rivini trunk show, happening June 28th-30th.
Hope we see you there!
