Christos Feature Gown: Meadow

Erin, stylist
In the days leading up to our fabulous Christos Trunk Show (happening May 17-19!), we decided to celebrate the new line by featuring a different gown in each post! Today, we'll see how one femenine, ethereal, brand-new Christos gown can be worn in VERY different ways.

'Meadow' from the new Spring 2013 collection is a full gown of Trellis Point d'esprit (it looks like delicate trails of dotted vines enrobing the gown in a natural motif!) with flutter sleeves and a natural waist. Here are just two ideas for ways to style her!

First, let's imagine her in a Vintage-themed or 50's inspired wedding! I would recommend hemming the gown to an ankle or tea length, wearing a colorful pump, and finishing your look with short gloves and pearls! Have your groom-to-be get in on the action and don suspenders and a bow tie. Here are a few images to set the mood:

Next, let's style her a little more natural and bohemian-think curly willow, soft greerery, wildflowers and a burnished gold. I'd recommend removing the flutter sleeves, adding a vintage brooch off-center to the waist detail, and using natural elements like pheasant feathers, cotton or twine in your bouquet and decor! Here are a few pictures for inspiration:

Remember beautuful brides, when you fall in love with a gown, be sure to make it your own!
